Andressa Urach

When she was just 15, Andressa Urach began a love affair with Tiago Costa. After three months of being together and living together, they moved together in the same house. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19 May, 2005) was their only child. After a series of marital disputes, the couple divorced in 2008, after the last six years in a relationship. Andressa relocated together with their son in her mother's place. Her job was cut off after six months and decided to move the son of hers to Sao Paulo to seek a new life. However, because she was arrogant and determined, her main motive for moving towards Sao Paulo was to be wealthy and famous. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver her experiences with inflicted sexual abuse when she was a kid. She suffered from the age two to eight of being abused by her grandfather who was adopted by her. The only way she was able to escape from this was getting out of this mess due to her foster mother's catching the act and Andressa was able to return home with her mother who did not know about her abuse until Andressa published her memoir. She said that before she experienced a spiritual awakening, it was difficult to accept the forgiveness of her abuser. One of the most difficult choices I've ever had to make was to call the man who sexually assaulted me. The choice was not easy. After several prayers and the vows to fast, I contacted him to say I was sorry and I even asked forgiveness. All I did was request forgiveness. Mariste Urach discusses in an interview for Globo what she was feeling at first hearing about the abuse her daughter had suffered. In an interview with Globo, Mariste Urach explains her reaction when she learned about the harassment suffered from her child.
