Kolber is originally from Pennsylvania has earned her master's degree from the University of Miami. Kolber's career began as a journalist in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She was awarded a Sports Emmy in Miami during her stint as a reporter at WTVJ-TV. Other assignments included WPLG-TV Miami & WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she was picked for anchoring ESPN2's first year of launch. The station stayed with her until ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. In 1999, she was re-admitted to ESPN and is currently the host for "Monday Night Countdown.".
